Developed especially for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM), this online training is exclusively available to LSEM staff and volunteers, free of charge through 4/21/24. Upon completing this training, participants will be able to: define trauma and explain its impact on the body and behavior, identify common forms of trauma, explain the 5 pillars of Trauma Informed Care (TIC), apply the principles of TIC in the legal services setting, and utilize common language to discuss TIC. This training is approximately 2 hours in duration.
