About

Kathryn Cronin Miller, MSW, LCSW (she/her), is the founder of A Better Place To Work. Kathryn joined the social sector in 2005, focusing on women's services, youth development, mental health, and trauma. She maintains a special focus on the nexus of legal and social work practices. Kathryn is an expert in elevating teams and creating optimal organizational cultures. After developing a reputation as a non-profit leader who could overcome the most difficult people and culture hurdles, she designed the CALM method to teach other leaders her trauma-informed, engagement-focused, and anti-oppressive techniques.


In addition to her consulting work, Kathryn has taught at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Denver. She currently serves on faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
