​Kathryn Cronin Miller, MSW, LCSW, is the Principal Coach/Consultant and Founder of A Better Place To Work. Kathryn joined the social sector in 2005. She has worked in non-profit, academic, and organizing settings, focusing on women's services, youth development, mental health, and trauma. She has a special focus on the nexus of legal and social work.  Kathryn is an expert in driving performance, boosting engagement, and removing tension from the workplace. In addition to her social work education, Kathryn has completed doctoral coursework and holds a certificate in Human Resources Management. She has taught at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Denver. ​ A fierce advocate for social justice, Kathryn believes that relationship-based, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive approaches to management create the foundation for success. Kathryn founded A Better Place To Work because she cares deeply about the social sector and those working within it.
